Every morning is a new beginning, a new opportunity and a new day to do things for progress and growth , but only the ones having strong minds do it.

Every day, we go through situations, sometimes newer & interesting, and sometimes complex and often complicated situations, but inevitably, there would be situations.

For a weak mind, situations are problems , and for a stable mind, situations are challenges, but for a strong mind, situations are opportunities.

How did you wake up today defines your mindset. Did you wake up thinking about problems or thinking about challenges or thinking about opportunities.

May you remember that the strong minded individuals get up every morning with three mindsets.

First, they get up, being grateful, every morning being able to open the eyes, and being alive itself is reason for gratitude, as many couldn’t manage to do that today , so count your blessings.

The second mindset of strong minds is intention setting , we must take some time aside to decide what we want to achieve today. Setting intentions help us to focus our energy and attention.

And the third mindset is letting go. Strong minds release any negativity or burdens of yesterday. Every day is a fresh start, and we don’t have to carry yesterday’s baggage today.

May you by practicing these three mindsets, of gratitude , setting your intentions and letting go every morning keep having a strong mind and may you keep venturing every day into opportunities and possibilities and you keep creating bigger and better things and you keep enhancing joy abundance and well being in your life and your world.

Keep cultivating and living with a strong mindset always

]]>
A human life is a privileged life.

With the faculties of discretion and choice, we can choose to grow every day both in our material pursuits and our spiritual journey.

As per vedic scriptures we are spiritual beings having a human experience and our salvation is in growing our spirits to become one with the creator himself refrred to as Braham.

The vedic scriptures, however, also mention the need for material pursuits when it talks about four Purushartha, or pursuits.

Dharma Artha Kama and Moksha.

Artha is one of the central aims of human life. It translates to “wealth,” “means,” or “goal” in Sanskrit. Artha encompasses the pursuit of resources necessary for a fulfilling life, including food, shelter, education, security, and health.

This pursuit should be grounded in ethical principles and respect for nature.

Artha involves striving for economic stability and prosperity, both for oneself and for one’s family and community. It encourages productive engagement in work and society.

Artha promotes the ability to live independently and with dignity, free from dependence on others. This includes financial security, physical well-being, and personal safety. the pursuit of Artha should not be driven by greed or a desire for excess.

It should be balanced with Dharma (righteousness) and Kama (pleasure) to avoid harming oneself or others.

May you remember that growth in both material and spiritual realms must have a sense of urgency as life is passing by every moment, and every moment we are nearing the end of our earthly journey.

Let’s utilise it well with a super sense of urgency in enriching our lives with material goals and enriching our spirits with spiritual progress.

Yesterday is history, and today will also be gone before we know it.

May you remember that we all have dreams, desires, and aspirations, and those who realise them are continuously growing and progressing, and that’s the central aim of human existence.

May you therefore cultivate a sense of urgency which will happen by having a sense of purpose , imagining the enhanced existence , having discipline , getting uncomfortable frequently, avoiding distraction and being focussed and living in gratitude.

May you ever keep growing and becoming better with a sense of urgency and may you keep enhancing joy abundance and well being in your life and your world.

Have a life lived in sense of urgency.

All of us have the power to make the magic happen, of turning our desires into reality within the planned time frame.

We only need to strike the perfect balance where our objectives key result areas goals and timelines are intertwined in the desired way for success.

Objectives give us big picture aspirations. They are the ambitious qualitative statements of what we want to achieve. They outline the overall direction and impact we aim for. Well-crafted objectives are inspiring and ignite passion within. They give a clear vision of the “why” behind our efforts.

When we break down our objectives, what we get are the KRA’s.

They are the broad categories that define the areas where progress towards the objective will be measured. They represent the key aspects of our goals. Defined key result areas give us focus and prioritization.

Goals set within each KRA’s give us quantifiable milestones. They add specificity and tangibility. They define what success looks like in each area, translating qualitative aspirations into measurable achievements. They also enable us to track our progress towards the objective. They act as checkpoints and allow us to adjust our course as needed.

When we also break down our goals into subgoals, they keep us motivated. Smaller, achievable goals provide a sense of accomplishment, and by celebrating small wins, we are excited and motivated throughout the journey.

Timelines help us set the pace. They frame the duration for achieving our desired outcome. They give a sense of urgency and guide the allocation of resources effectively.

May you remember that the magic happens when these elements weave together. Objectives inspire, KRAs focus, goals quantify, and timelines drive action.

By clearly defining each of these elements and ensuring their coherence, you create a roadmap for turning your desires into reality within the planned timeframe.

May you always remember that the key to success lies in finding the right balance between ambition (objectives) and practicality (goals and timelines) while maintaining focus through clearly defined areas of progress (KRAs)

May you by striking the right balance keep creating bigger and better things and you keep achieving success and you keep enhancing abundance joy and well being in your life and your world.

May you keep living a life of creating magic everyday

A balanced and ethical way of living leads to a joyful, meaningful, and fulfilling life.

In this way of living , which is balanced & ethical, individuals focus on their duties and responsibilities with a selfless attitude and a concern for the welfare of others.

That’s what the Bhagvat Geeta, one of the ancient eastern scriptures, teaches. It advises individuals to perform their work with a sense of detachment and compassion.

It also advises individuals to engage in their duties and responsibilities with careful consideration while remaining free from attachment to the outcomes.

This teaching emphasizes the importance of performing one’s work diligently, without being overly concerned about success or failure, gains or losses, and suggests that individuals should carry out their tasks while considering the well-being of others and being mindful of their impact on the world around them.

Such work is selfless , detatched, and compassionate.

May you remember that to work selflessly means performing tasks without being driven solely by personal gain or recognition.

You work for the love of working because that is the best thing to do, and that is the right thing to do.

By working towards your goals, you are able to fulfill your duties and responsibilities.

Detachment is the second way of living a balanced and ethical life. The fruits of labour would come sooner or later in one form or the other , there is no point in being overtly fixated to the results.

Enjoying the journey itself makes life meaningful.

And lastly comes compassion , it’s being aware of others’ needs and being empathetic about them.

Knowing how your actions will impact others and the world and not indulging in activities that give you gains at the cost of others or harms the world in some ways.

May you remember always to lead an ethical and balanced life, which will keep enhancing joy abundance and well-being in your life and your world.

May you keep living a balanced and ethical life by engaging in selfless, detatched, and compassionate actions

A beautiful life is built by leadership of the self. Maximum understanding of the self and of the real and the unreal helps in making the right decisions, creating better things, and fostering deep meaningful relations.

Leadership of the self comes from being a Truth Seeker.

Truth Seekers are individuals who actively seek to uncover, understand, and pursue the truth in various aspects of life, whether that’s related to philosophical, scientific, religious, or personal matters.

They often question conventional beliefs, critically analyze information, and engage in introspection to arrive at their own conclusions.

Truth seekers value evidence, open-mindedness, and a willingness to challenge their own assumptions in their pursuit of deeper understanding and knowledge.

Truth seekers fall in the category of wise people, as explained by a great author, who said that fools are those who think they are wise , while those are the wise ones who believe themselves to be fools.

The lyrics of a very popular song resonate with the same idea, when it says the more I learn, the less I know about before.

Truth seekers know very well that the greater the understanding they get , the more they find how ignorant they were.

May you know that being a Truth Seeker helps you do things better because you create a positive impact, foster growth, and guide yourself and everyone around you toward success.

May you also know that the ancient vedic scriptures associate Dharma, Satya, Ahimsa, Viveka, and Seva apart from other aspects with truth seekers.

If you try to listen deeply, seek to understand better, aim to discern the real from the unreal , try to gain more knowledge and question the norms, you will start living a life in Dharma , which is the righteous path where you make just and ethical decisions that benefit the greater good.

You will also start to follow Satya , which is speaking and upholding the truth, as it leads to trust and harmony.

You would follow Ahimsa, non-violence, where everything is resolved peacefully and an atmosphere of non-agression is created.

You will also experience enhanced Viveka, which refers to discernment or discrimination between the real and the unreal. Which helps you make informed choices, distinguishing between short-term gains and long-term benefits.

Finally, you indulge in Seva, or selfless service, which leads to prioritizing the well-being of others.

May you thetefore remember that by being a Truth Seeker you become wiser , more peaceful and more successful and you continuously keep creating better things keep getting better and keep enhancing abundance joy and well being in your life and your world.

May you keep living a life being a Truth Seeker and practicing self leadership to create and live a beautiful life

Truth is high, but higher still is truthful living, said Guru Nanak.

In the Vedic scriptures , it’s also said that Truth is God and all virtues follow truth . All are rooted in truth, and there is nothing higher than the truth.

The idea of truthful living being higher encapsulates that while recognizing and valuing the concept of truth is important, it is even more significant to embody and live truthfully in one’s actions, thoughts, and interactions with others.

The teachings emphasize the importance of leading a life of honesty, integrity, and moral uprightness.

This perspective defines the transformative power of living in alignment with one’s values and principles.

By equating truth with divinity, the vedas emphasize and suggest that truth is not merely a moral principle but a fundamental cosmic principle that underpins the universe’s functioning.

This understanding resonates with the Vedic idea of an underlying cosmic order (Rita) that governs existence.

When it’s said that all virtues follow truth, it emphasizes the pivotal role of truth in shaping virtuous conduct.

Truth is considered the bedrock upon which all moral values and ethical principles are built.

When one aligns their actions with truth, they naturally cultivate virtues like honesty, integrity, and compassion.

This implies that ethical behavior stems from a genuine commitment to truthfulness, and that’s what truthful living is.

The concept of ( Rita) in the vedas represents the cosmic order, harmony, and the underlying principle that governs the universe’s functioning.

It encompasses the idea of a natural and divine order that maintains balance and sustains the cosmic cycle.

The idea extends beyond the physical realm to encompass moral and ethical dimensions. It emphasizes the importance of righteous conduct, honesty, integrity, and adherence to divine laws.

Living in harmony with “Rita” involves aligning one’s actions with the natural order of the universe and upholding moral principles.

This means that ethical behavior is not just a human invention but is rooted in the cosmic fabric of reality.

May you understand that truthful living is not only a human phenomenon but is the foundation of the cosmic order , and it highlights the importance of living in alignment with the divine laws and principles.

May you also understand the idea that truth is the foundation that leads to a life of honesty, integrity, and compassion and that truthful living is aligned with the divine laws and principles.

And when you do that you keep following truthful living and you are in harmony with the universe and then you nearly effortlessly keep creating better things and you keep being better and you keep enhancing joy abundance and well being in your life and your world.

May you keep living truthfully every day and keep creating a better life always

There’s an ordinary life and an extraordinary life, individuals choose which one they want to live.

The ordinary life is when one is able to provide adequately for oneself and one’s family, while the extraordinary life is when one is able to go beyond and serve others too.

The more one is able to serve, the more extraordinary a life is.

This all begins from self care. The first step is to serve yourself first , imagine a more healthy you, a more powerful and more connected and more wealthy you.

When you are more, you can serve more.

However, one must know beforehand what one is going to become in the process of being more.

The vedic scriptures provide a compass for this called Dharma , the path of righteousness, living life ethically, and with responsibility aligned with the highest universal values and principles.

The eastern wisdom also provides the foundation on which a successful growing and serving life is based.

May you know that an extraordinary life learns and practices to transcend pain and suffering.

May you remember that pain is a necessary and important element in preserving and maintaining life, which is contained in the body.

Pain tells you what’s wrong with your body, and either it self heals or you need to take available care for its healing.

According to Buddha, while pain is an inherent part of life due to physical and emotional experiences, suffering is the mental and emotional response to that pain.

He believed that suffering is caused by our attachment, desires, and aversions, which create a cycle of dissatisfaction and discontentment.

Buddha’s teachings are aimed to help individuals understand the nature of suffering, its causes, and how to transcend it by changing one’s relationship with pain and cultivating a state of mental clarity and equanimity.

An extraordinary life is built in spite of the mandatory pain and by transcending suffering

May you by understanding the impermanent nature of life including pain , keep transcending suffering and keep building an extraordinary life following your Dharma and keep creating the impact you are supposed to create on the world, and keep enhancing abundance joy and well being in your life and in your world.

May you always be living and building an extraordinary life everyday

A happy and fulfilling life is a life of balance and harmony. As per ancient eastern scriptures the path of ethical living, inner growth, and alignment with the cosmic order leads to living the balanced and harmonious life.

To achieve this, the vedas prescribe
adherence to one’s (Svadharma) or inherent duty based on one’s (varna) and stage of life (ashrama).

There are four stages in life.

(Brahmacharya) The student stage focused on education and self-discipline

(Grihastha). The householder stage focused on raising a family and pursuing a career.

(Vanaprastha)The stage of gradual withdrawal from worldly duties, allowing for spiritual pursuits &

(Sannyasa)The renunciate stage focused on complete detachment from material possessions and dedicated to spiritual pursuits.

As per the vedas, each person is encouraged to fulfill their responsibilities without attachment to results, contributing positively to society while maintaining inner equilibrium.

The scriptures also talk about the practice of self-awareness and introspection (Svadhyaya), which is essential for personal growth and maintaining harmony.

By understanding oneself and recognizing one’s strengths and weaknesses, we can strive for self-improvement and better relationships with others.

(Ahimsa) or non-violence is another cornerstone of Vedic harmony. This principle extends to both physical and mental realms, emphasizing compassion, empathy, and respect for all living beings.

Additionally , the concept of Karma underscores the importance of right action. By performing one’s duties diligently and selflessly, we accumulate positive karma, leading to a more balanced and prosperous life.

Finally, meditation and spiritual practices (Sadhana) are encouraged to cultivate inner peace, mindfulness, and connection with the divine.

These practices help us transcend material desires and experience a deeper sense of unity with the universe.

May you therefore know that the Vedic concept of a balanced and harmonious life revolves around living in accordance with (Dharma), which is performing our duties and responsibilities based on moral and ethical principles, and practicing self-awareness, cultivating compassion, performing right actions, and engaging in spiritual practices.

By following these principles, you can achieve a state of equilibrium, inner contentment, and alignment with the cosmic order, and you keep living a happy and fulfilling life, continuously enhancing joy abundance and well being in your life and your world.

May you keep living a happy and fulfilling life based on balanced and harmony

Harmony and balance are needed to lead a rich, meaningful, and fulfilling life.

The universe contains opposite forces and elements coexisting and often interplaying with each other.

The concept of Yin and Yang is a fundamental concept in chinese philosophy and cosmology. It represents the dualistic nature of the universe and describes how opposite forces are interconnected and interdependent.

In vedic scriptures, the similar concept to Yin and Yang is that of the interplay of Gunas. The Gunas are three fundamental qualities or forces that permeate the entire universe and are present in all aspects of creation, including the mind, body, and the natural world.

These three Gunas are known as Sattva, Rajas, and Tamas,

Sattva is associated with purity, harmony, lightness, balance, knowledge, and goodness. It represents qualities such as clarity, peace, wisdom, and enlightenment.

Rajas is associated with activity, energy, passion, motion, and transformation. It represents qualities such as ambition, desire, restlessness, and attachment.

Rajas is characterized by movement and the driving force behind actions, both positive and negative. It is associated with the pursuit of worldly desires and accomplishments.

Tamas is associated with inertia, darkness, heaviness, ignorance, and delusion. It represents qualities such as laziness, confusion, dullness, and stagnation.

Tamas is associated with ignorance and delusion. It comes in the way of progress of one’s awareness and consciousness and clouding one’s perception.

The Gunas are interdependent and constantly in flux. They are not absolute categories but rather relative and comparative.

Different aspects of life, individuals, and phenomena are said to have varying proportions and manifestations of the Gunas. The balance and interplay of these Gunas determine the qualities and nature of a person, an object, or a situation.

The goal as per vedic wisdom for us is to cultivate Sattva Guna and minimize Rajas and Tamas.

May you know that Shiva is also associated with various dualities and opposites.

He is depicted as both an ascetic and a householder, representing the balance between renunciation and worldly responsibilities.

He is often shown with attributes that represent opposing forces, such as the crescent moon representing rejuvenation and the river Ganga flowing from his hair, representing purification and release from worldly attachments.

Shiva is known as Ardhanarishvara, a composite form of both male and female, symbolizing the union of opposites and the inherent unity of all existence.

This portrayal emphasizes the harmony and balance between masculine and feminine energies within the divine and in the world.

May you on auspicious days when Shiva is worshipped with utmost devotion, become aware of this complete coexistence and interplay of the opposites and learn to balance the various Guna within you transcending the lower one’s and gravitating towards sattva , creating more harmony and continuously enhancing joy abundance and well being in your life and your world.

May you have a more aware and conscious day ahead.

Om Namah Shivaya

]]>
Leading a successful life , according to Vedic scriptures, involves the practice and pursuit of the four purusharthas, namely Dharma, Artha, Kama, and Moksha.

Each purushartha represents a different aspect of our existence and serves a specific purpose in achieving a balanced and fulfilling life.

Dharma The first purushartha refers to the righteous and ethical path one should follow in life. It encompasses moral and social responsibilities, upholding truth, justice, and integrity. By adhering to dharma, we contribute to the overall harmony and well-being of society.

Artha, the second purushartha, pertains to the pursuit of material wealth, power, and prosperity. It emphasizes the importance of fulfilling one’s material needs, supporting oneself and one’s family, and contributing to the economic growth of society. However, the pursuit of Artha must be guided by Dharma to ensure that wealth is acquired and utilized in an ethical and responsible manner.

Kama, the third purushartha, signifies the pursuit of desires, pleasures, and emotional fulfillment. It encompasses both sensual and intellectual enjoyment. While kama is an inherent aspect of human nature, it should be pursued within the boundaries of dharma, ensuring that desires are balanced and harmonized with moral and social values.

Moksha, the ultimate purushartha, represents liberation or spiritual enlightenment. It transcends the material realm and refers to the liberation of the soul from the cycle of birth and death. Moksha is attained through self-realization, understanding the true nature of the self and its relationship with the divine. It is the highest goal of human life, offering eternal peace and union with the divine.

May you remember that balancing each purushartha is essential for a well-rounded and successful life.

Neglecting any one of them can lead to imbalance, discontentment, or ethical lapses.

Dharma provides the moral compass and foundation for pursuing Artha and kama in a responsible and ethical manner.

Pursuing Artha and Kama in alignment with Dharma ensures that material wealth and desires are attained and enjoyed without causing harm to oneself or others.

Finally, the pursuit of Moksha provides a higher purpose and meaning to life. It reminds us of our spiritual essence and the transient nature of worldly pursuits.

May you thetefore remember that balancing the four purusharthas allows you to lead a life of integrity, fulfillment, and spiritual growth, contributing to your own well-being and the welfare of society as a whole.

May you by practicing and pursuing the four purushartha in a balanced way keep getting enriched and keep enriching your world and keep enhancing joy abundance and well being in your life and your world.

And keep living a rich meaningful and fulfilled life.
