The cycle of creation sustenance and destruction is an eternal truth and well explained in the vedic scriptures.

Whatever manifests has to cease to exist after a while. This does not only include the living and non-living things on earth but the entire universe itself.

As per the vedic scriptures, our human body is made up of five core elements called the Panch Mahabhuta. Prithvi , Apas, Tejas, Vayu, and Akash. Prithvi ( Earth), represents the solid and physical aspects of the body, such as bones, muscles, and tissues.

Apas( Water), governs the flow and fluidity within the body, including blood, lymph, and bodily fluids.

Tejas ( Fire) is associated with metabolism, digestion, and the internal heat of the body.

Vayu ( Air ) is responsible for breath, movement, and circulation within the body and mind and

Akash ( Ether) represents the space within the body that allows for the other elements to function and is also linked to consciousness and awareness.

The cosmos is also made up of the same elements, and after death, the human body returns to the source of these elements. The physical structure disintegrates, merging back into the earth. Water returns to the water cycle, fire to the cosmic fire, air to the atmosphere, and the subtle essence of the individual consciousness is believed to return to the universal Akash.

Now the interesting part is that cosmos and the human body share a fundamental connection through the Pancha Mahabhutas, the five elements. While these elements are building block of the human body forming the physical and subtle aspects of our being , the Mahabhutas are the cosmic principles of the cosmos.

They represent fundamental forces and energies that govern the creation, operation, and evolution of the universe. They operate on a much vaster scale, influencing aspects like gravity, the laws of physics, and the flow of energy throughout the cosmos.

In the Bhagvat Gita Sri Krishna shows the Vishwarupa to Arjuna where the entire cosmos is seen within him, including Arjuna himself.

The description of the Vishwarupa is vast and all-encompassing. It contains galaxies, stars, planets, rivers, mountains, even gods and demons – essentially everything imaginable.

This reflects the Vedic belief that the macrocosm (universe) and the microcosm (human body) are mirrors of each other, governed by the same principles and composed of the same fundamental elements.

And then there is the mention of osmosis in vishwarupa, The mention of osmosis within the Vishwarupa further deepens the connection. Osmosis refers to the flow of fluids across a semi-permeable membrane, driven by the tendency to equalize concentrations. In the context of the Vishwarupa, it could symbolize the constant exchange of energy and information between the individual and the universe.

Each breath, each thought, and every action ripples outwards, impacting the cosmic whole, while the universe in turn influences our internal state.

May you therefore remember that while after death we go back to the elements, while living we are in constant flux with the universe and are continuously exchanging energy and information.

We and cosmos are one and there is complete interconnectedness.

While showing the vishwarupa Krishna is not just showcasing his divine power; he’s offering Arjuna a glimpse into the profound truth that all beings are intricately woven into the fabric of existence, inseparable from the vast cosmic dance.

May you remember that when you are aware and entrenched in this truth , you are free of fear are unbound infinite and limitless.

Then you are the cosmos and the cosmos is you , you are everyone else and everyone else and everything else is you and this feeling of oneness guides you to do what is right and create impossible and unimaginable things and live in bliss and keep being happy joyful abundant and keep leading a meaningful and fulfilling life.

Keep having an existence entrenched in being connected and being one.
